That's right -- it's a boy! I think most people know by now that we are expecting a baby in September and a couple of weeks ago we were told it's a boy. I have to admit I am still in shock and a bit of denial. Personally, I can't tell anything on that ultrasound picture but the technician was very convinced.
So, now I ask... what do I do with this? I know NOTHING about boys. I was so sure it was a girl and truthfully thought it would probably be easier that way... I've done girls, I know girls, not to mention I have all the girl clothes a family could ever need. And now the tables have been turned and I (who likes to be "in control") have been set on a new course. How crazy! The best part though was seeing Adam's face, he had a grin from ear to ear -- he's very excited. The next huge hurdle is naming the little guy, that's going to be an interesting journey!
Since that picture is less then clear here's another that I love.
Just can't believe how amazing it is to actually see the baby and how developed they are at such an early stage. Truly humbling to be a part of this incredible miracle of life.

Yeah! I was just the opposite when I had Taylor I didn't know what to do. Now she plays with cars, trains and other boys toys. I don't think that your hubby would like your boy to play with dolls though! Good luck my three boys are easier than my one girl FYI!!!
WOW! I don't know if I more excited that your having a boy or that you actually decided to find out the gender! I bet your glad you did. Why didn't you tell me at the Deseret book run-in?! I'm verrrry happy for you.
My cute little nephew!! How exciting. It was so cute to show the pictures. I showed my kids and Garrett who was sitting on my lap was just staring at the picture and I was telling him that it was a boy and that he would have a new cousin to play with and he put his little hands together and said "that is just GREAT!" It was so cute! We love you so much and I love having a boy and having my girls.
I heart boys! They are so much fun. This is going to be a serious change in your household. Yowza!
