Ready for some basketball??

The other night at dinner Kaelynn started standing in her chair and playing with her pants, I asked her to sit down and eat and she said she was getting ready for basketball. I had no idea what she was talking about and after further questioning we discovered that she learned it from Dad and here she is; ready for some basketball!


Apparently she needed some shorts on to play and so this was her problem solving. Adam and I certainly got a kick out of the whole thing -- especially considering how random it was.

Cherry Pie

Well, most people would not find it that interesting that our family went out for Cherry pie a couple of weeks ago but there is actually more to the story then that. There is this old time family restaurant near our house that often runs interesting promotions. Well, the month of February was Cherry Pie a la mode for 22 cents!!

OK -- now tell me where can you go out to eat and get ANYTHING for 22 cents!?! After weeks of driving by the signs I finally convinced Adam (whose least favorite kind of pie is cherry! ;--) that we should go just for the fun of it. So we did!!

So, it wasn't the dinner of your dreams but I just couldn't get over paying 22 cents for pie and ice cream. I thought it was a great experience and the girls liked the pie too as for Adam, I think he's just glad I'm not talking about it anymore!!
