Now, if that doesn't say unorganized and incomplete, I don't know what would. Actually that's pretty much how it has been feeling around here for quite sometime.
Anyway, we started the project as a Family Home Evening activity the 1st week of December. We decided we'd let the girls do what they wanted and then we'd decorate for reals after they went to bed. You might wonder if they've ever gone to bed... well they have but we have yet to complete the project, despite the supplies still sitting in the hall ready to be used!
I have now decided that with 5 days to go, what's the point and it's actually kind of funny to me to look at it. It's very out of character for me to let something like this go but just take a look at what 3 kids will do to you!!
Just for the record, this is what my tree is suppossed to say about me:
(This is from one of our other houses a few years ago but it's the only one I could find of our completed tree)
There is always next year to try for a more "complete" look!

Hey, that last picture is of "THE" tree Huh?
Can I just tell you how happy this post made me? Let me tell you why: It is 4 days til Christmas and while we do have our tree up I have done no other decorating. The boxes are still in the garage waiting for "when I'll have time." I asked the girls for help with it and when Makenzie asked yesterday when I was going to finish decorating and put the nativity scene up I just looked at her and said if it was so important to her then she could have helped when I asked for her help. But I have to say that the snow is adding its own dimension of Christms decor around here. I don't really know if we need much else.
What does my Christmas tree say about me? Are you asking 3 weeks ago or three days ago? Because now we have a disorganized mess of several broken ornaments, ornaments resting on branches instead of hanging, ............ But 3 weeks ago I was a STAR!!
Hey Amy!! It was so good to hear from you. I'm glad you got the card... I wasn't sure if the address I had was current or not. And I'm happy to find out that you have a blog. I love peering into the lives of friends. :) How are you guys doing? I see you have a third little one already! Congrats. Are you still loving Oregon?
